What are the ingredients in ellura?

Each capsule of ellura delivers a potent 36 mg of Proanthocyanidins (PACs) from 206 mg of concentrated cranberry fruit juice extract (Gikacran®), the key ingredient clinically backed to support urinary tract health*. Encapsulated in a 100% plant-based formula, ellura provides consistant support.^(6,3,7)

Inactive ingredients: Mannitol, Magnesium Stearate, silicon dioxide, and the vegetable shell(Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose) are used to prevent ingredients from sticking together during the manufacturing process to increase product stability and keep the active ingredient (PACs) more bioavailable.

Can I open the ellura capsules if I have trouble swallowing them?

Yes, you can open the ellura capsule, but we recommend mixing the powder with soft food (ex. yogurt, pudding, applesauce) or sweet beverage (i.e. juice) rather than taking it directly, as it has a naturally bitter, astringent taste.

How does ellura work?

ellura works by harnessing the power of 36 mg of potent Proanthocyanidins (PACs) from 100% pure concentrated cranberry fruit juice extract^(3,4). These soluble and bioactive PACs interact with certain bacteria, helping to reduce their ability to adhere to the bladder wall^(17,6,12). Without the ability to adhere, bacteria are naturally washed out, helping to keep your urinary tract clean*.

What are proanthocyanidins (PACs)?

Proanthocyanidins (PACs) are natural compounds found in cranberries and some other fruits. Research shows that the unique A-type PACs in cranberries help support urinary tract health*^(1,2). ellura uses a unique/exclusive extraction process to ensure each capsule contains a precise, bioactive dose of PACs for maximum effectiveness.

Why is ellura better than other cranberry supplements?

Not all cranberry supplements are created equal. How to Take ellura

Who can benefit from taking ellura?

ellura is ideal for anyone prone to frequent UTIs, especially women. Some common UTI triggers are sex, birth control, menopause, diabetes, mobility issues, or catheter use^{(6,7,9,11,14)}. Men can also get UTIs, but since they may be linked to other health conditions, they should consult with their health care provider before taking ellura.

Do I need a prescription to take ellura?

No prescription is required to obtain ellura. ellura has been scientifically researched for its role in supporting urinary tract health* ^(3,2) and is recommended by many healthcare professionals. ellura is marketed as a dietary supplement in the USA and does not require a prescription.

How often should I take ellura?

To help maintain a clean urinary tract*, take 1 capsule daily with water at about the same time each day. ellura can be used occasionally or repeatedly, as needed, or as recommended by your healthcare provider. For specific situations such as sexual activity, travel, stress, dehydration, or early signs of urinary discomfort, you can take 2 capsules per day as needed, then return to your regular dose of 1 capsule daily. While ellura does not treat or cure a UTI, it helps support a clean urinary tract by reducing the ability of certain bacteria to adhere. If you have an active UTI, take ellura daily alongside your prescribed antibiotics to help wash out bacteria naturally^(17,6,3,12).

Can I take ellura with a prescribed antibiotic?

Yes, you can take ellura alongside your prescribed antibiotic for extra support in washing out harmful bacteria and to help maintain urinary tract health*^(17,6,3,12). However, ellura is not a substitute for antibiotics, which are necessary to treat an active UTI. Once an infection clears, continue taking ellura daily to support a clean urinary tract health by reducing the ability of certain bacteria to adhere. Because long-term antibiotic use for prevention may lead to resistance and unwanted side effects^(13,5), you should work with your healthcare provider to determine the best ongoing strategy for your needs.

Can ellura replace an antibiotic?

No, ellura cannot replace an antibiotic. If you have a confirmed UTI, you will likely need an antibiotic to treat it. However, you can take ellura alongside your antibiotic to support flushing out UTI-causing bacteria. Once the infection clears, continue taking ellura daily to help maintain a healthy urinary tract. Keep in mind that long-term antibiotic use can lead to resistance and unwanted side effects, so consult your healthcare provider for the best prevention strategy⁽⁴⁾.

How is ellura tested for quality?

Safety Information

Is ellura acidic?

ellura has a similar acidity level (ph value) to a cup of coffee⁽⁵⁾, soda^(4-5), or tomatoes^(4-5).

For Comparison: water has a neutral pH of 7; Cranberry juice is much more acidic, with a pH of 2.7. ellura falls about halfway between the two, with a pH of 4.44. This means ellura is mildly acidic but significantly less so than cranberry juice.

Although we compare ellura to a cup of coffee, rest assured that ellura does not contain any caffeine.

Can I be allergic to ellura?

ellura is well-tolerated, but if you have a red fruit allergy, it's best to check with your healthcare provider before taking it. ellura's active ingredient (PACs) are extracted from concentrated cranberry fruit juice extract, a red fruit.

Does ellura contain GMOs, artificial ingredients, or common allergens like gluten, dairy, or soy?

ellura is well-tolerated, but if you have a red fruit allergy, it's best to check with your healthcare provider before taking it. ellura's active ingredient,(PACs), are extracted from concentrated cranberry juice extract, a red fruit.

Is ellura suitable for children?

Yes, ellura is safe for children and has been used for years with no reported side effects. Children under 50 lbs can take half a capsule daily, while those 50 lbs or more can take one full capsule daily. If swallowing is difficult, the capsule can be opened and mixed into a sweet beverage or soft food⁽⁷⁾.

We recommend consulting your child’s pediatrician before starting ellura to ensure it’s appropriate for their individual health needs.

Is ellura safe for pregnant and nursing women?

There are no studies on ellura in pregnant or nursing women. While cranberry is generally considered safe and natural, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider before use.

Can I take ellura if I have diabetes?

Yes. When taken at the recommended dose, ellura is unlikely to affect blood sugar levels, including individuals who manage their blood sugar daily.

Can I take ellura if I'm on blood thinners?

A potential interaction cannot be ruled out. If you are taking blood thinners (anticoagulant medication), consult your healthcare provider before using ellura.

Are there any side effects from taking ellura?

Can I take ellura with other supplements or medications?

As with starting any new medication or supplements, it's important to consult your healthcare provider.

Can ellura cause kidney stones or worsen existing ones?

ellura contains low levels of oxalates, only 0.108 mg per capsule, which is much lower than in pure cranberry juice or the whole fruit. While long-term studies provide conflicting data on cranberry and kidney stones, the low oxalate content in ellura makes it unlikely to cause or worsen kidney stones. If you have a history of kidney stones or severe kidney disease, it's best to consult your healthcare provider before taking ellura.

Does ellura help with interstitial cystitis (IC)?

While an IC "flare" and UTI symptoms can often feel the same, ellura is not a treatment for interstitial cystitis (IC). However if UTI's tend to cause your IC "flare ups" then ellura may help. If acidity is a concern, ellura has an ph of 4.4, you can take it with an acid reducer. Always consult your healthcare provider for proper IC management and treatment.

What is your return policy?

Unopened bottles of ellura may be returned within 45 days of purchase for any reason. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment, minus original shipping costs and a 3.5% transaction fee to cover payment processing expenses.

How do I join the rewards program?

Do I still earn points when I use a promo code?

Not on the purchase, but yes on other actions! If you use a promo code at checkout, you will not earn points for that order. However, you will still receive points for account signup, birthday entries, and social follows.

How do referrals work?

Do my points expire?

Can I use my points on taxes or shipping?

No. Points may only be applied to product purchases and cannot be used for taxes, shipping, or additional promo discounts.

What happens if I cancel or return my order?

If your order is canceled or fully refunded, the points you earned from that order will be removed from your account. For partial refunds, only the portion of points associated with the returned items will be deducted.

Can I have multiple accounts?

No. Each customer is allowed one rewards account. Duplicate accounts, fake referrals, or suspicious activity may result in point forfeiture and deactivation of the program for that account.
